Jesse Murphy is the VP of TV, at McG’s Wonderland Sound and Vision.

Prior to joining Wonderland, he co-founded Jesse James Films, an intellectual property driven production company. He was the former Head of Development under Marlon Wayans’ term deal at Universal Television, garnered a Daytime Emmy Award for producing the first soap opera for a streamer, and has been featured in Forbes as a Producer to Watch.

His projects have been acquired, developed, licensed, or produced by companies such as Netflix, Disney, Amazon, and Peacock. Some of Jesse’s credits include Marlon, Naked, Hooking Up, Chick Fight, Woke-ish, Only Human, and Disney’s upcoming Cookies & Milk.

Outside pf producing, Jesse has written articles for New York Magazine along with the former New York Observer. Additionally, he is a professor at Oklahoma City University, where he lectures on the Business of Entertainment for the Universities master’s program.

Jesse began his career working in the mailroom of Paradigm Talent Agency. He graduated with a degree in marketing from Manhattan College in the Bronx. When he is not working, Jesse daydreams of moving to Madrid, writing poetry, and drinking cheap wine.
